Available on a first come / first serve basis, this unique Double Peak Sport 27.5" model comes only in a sage colorway with a new MicroSHIFT 1x8 Acolyte group as an updated version to our 2021 model. Offered as a user-friendly 1x8 model with single Narrow-Wide 30T chainring and a rear derailleur with clutch to prevent chain-drops, this new Double Peak Sport model features the look of a high-end MTB and performance to match at an affordable price.

The Double Peak 29 Comp features a low stand over, low center of gravity frame made of X6 series alloy with internal head tube and internal cable routing. The "DP" Comp features a lightweight and versatile 1x10 Shimano Deore drive train with an FSA Comet 30T crankset. The 29" Weinmann U-28 alloy wheelset is fitted with efficient Kenda Honey Badger 29" x 2.2" tires. The front end features an upgraded Suntour XCM 100mm fork with hydraulic lockout. Double Peak, a series inspired by a local riding spot not far from Haro, features a low stand-over height frame made from X6 series aluminum, with an internal head tube and internal cable routing to keep things clean and tucked away. The Sport model features a new HL Vaxa 525 100mm fork with hydraulic lockout, a new 2x8-speed drive train with Shimano RapidFire 2x8-speed shifters. It glides along on alloy double wall rims, stainless spokes and MTB specific 29 x 2.2" tires. The linkage-driven, single-pivot FlexPoint Pro rear suspension makes room for shorter chainstays to improve climbing capabilities and overall agility. Other updates include new 29er-specific XC race geometry with a longer reach and a slacker headtube angle plus a new design for internal cable routing. ADVANCED COMPOSITE High-performance grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory. The mainframe and rear swingarm are handcrafted with monocoque construction for optimized stiffness-to-weight and an ultra-responsive ride quality. FLEXPOINT PRO SUSPENSION Developed as superlight rear suspension for XC bikes that demand efficiency, control and responsive handling, this linkage-driven, single-pivot system delivers 100mm of rear-wheel travel. It's engineered with a full-composite swingarm to minimize frame weight. XC RACE GEOMETRY The superlight composite frame is optimized for efficiency and control with an updated 67.5-degree head tube angle, longer reach, and a 110mm suspension fork for fast, technical XC performance. OVERDRIVE Giant's proven oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system's oversized headset bearings (1 1/2" lower and 1 1/8" upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness. ADVANCED FORGED COMPOSITE A state-of-the-art high-pressure molding process is used to produce the composite rocker arm, making it lighter, stiffer and stronger than aluminum. POWERCORE A massively oversized bottom bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 92mm bottom bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside. INTEGRATED CABLE PORTS New design for internal cable routing offers a clean look and performance for derailleur, brake, and dropper post cables and housing.

It's all-new, years in the making, coming to race podiums everywhere. KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS RACE-READY SUSPENSION A new Maestro rear suspension system, developed over several seasons of World Cup racing with Giant engineers and pro athletes, features 200mm of smooth, active travel for race-winning speed. The rear suspension is paired with a 203mm travel fork, providing superior confidence and control on the most extreme DH racetracks and trails. ULTRA ADJUSTABLE Three flip chips provide unprecedented adjustability. First, a three-position Maestro flip chip lets you dial in frame geometry for your riding style and terrain. Next, a new headset flip chip adjusts reach so you can easily achieve perfect positioning. And finally, a rear dropout flip chip lets you adjust the overall wheelbase and handling characteristics. REAR WHEEL OPTIONS: Choose either a 29-inch or 27.5-inch rear wheel. All models come with a mixed wheel "mullet" stock setup that many racers prefer with the smaller rear wheel creating a snappy, agile feel and increased saddle-to-tire clearance in the rear. For those who favor the rollover speed and stability of two 29-inch wheels, you can easily swap out the rear wheel. HIGHLIGHTS: Thoroughly reengineered from the ground up, the new Glory Advanced features a lightweight, super strong composite frame, 200mm of Maestro rear suspension (with a 203mm fork up front), and multiple flip chips to dial in geometry, rear wheel size, fit and positioning. The stock setup is a mixed-wheel configuration with a 29-inch front and 27.5-inch rear, striking a perfect balance of roll-over speed and maneuverability. Riders also have the option to switch to a 29-inch rear wheel using a simple two-position flip chip on the rear dropout. The legend is back.

Mako utilises ISB VMax stainless steel bearings, which feature a specific “full ball” structure to work optimimally inside the suspension pivot linkages. These specially-chosen bearings offer 40% more loading capacity than a conventional bearings, offering greater resilience and reliability. ICS2 internal cable routing technology ensures maximum protection of cables and hoses, while offering clean lines from handlebar to the rear derailleur. Mako comes complete with provision for FOX's Live Valve electronic suspension system. The frameset features integrated mounting points for the control unit and sensors, marrying Mako and state-of-the-art active suspension technology together. Mako uses our Anti-Mud System (AMS) to minimise resistance and accumulated weight caused by the build up of mud. Increased tyre clearance and optimised tube shapes to reduce this build up, improving ride efficiency and speed wherever you go.
